2019 Annual Charity Golf Tournament

For the past 19 years, ASIS Middle Tennessee has contributed to charity through the funds raised from the annual golf tournament. In 2017 we set a $10,000 donation goal for the Andrew Jackson FOP Youth Camp - a lofty goal above previous years. Not only did we meet that $10,000 goal, we also provided $4,500 in scholarship awards to students in the criminal justice community through the David S. Hawtin, CPP Memorial Scholarship Fund. In 2018 the Chapter again raised $10,000 for the Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp and gave two scholarships to Chapter members to gain professional certification.

We are now in our third year of a firm commitment to continue this tradition, and 2019 proved to be a milestone year for charitable fundraising! Members of ASIS Middle Tennessee Chapter, along with our Title co-Sponsors Solaren Risk Management and Securitas presented a check to members of the FOP and Deputy Chief Johnson of MNPD for $20,000! In addition to this incredible donation, the David S. Hawtin, CPP Memorial Scholarship Fund has more than $6,000 to award in continuing education and professional certifications to Chapter members in 2019/2020.

We would be remiss to not thank all of the Sponsors, Donors, Teams, and Players who made the golf tournament a tremendously successful charitable event. A huge debt of gratitude is extended to Jack Byrd and the members of Solaren Risk Management and David Huenergardt and the members of Securitas as our Title co-Sponsors and most generous donors to the event.

This was a well attended meeting with some new faces present!
